Frequently asked questions

The questions support actually receives, answered without marketing. If something here is unclear or wrong, tell us and we will fix the page.

Quick answer

Per-gigabyte billing, traffic that never expires, HTTP(S) and SOCKS5, crypto payment.

Buy from one gigabyte or top up from $5. Link Telegram to a new account and the first gigabyte is free. Everything below is the detail behind those four sentences.

Buying and billing

How am I charged?

Rotating traffic is billed per gigabyte. You buy a package, the gigabytes land on your balance, and you spend them whenever you like — they do not expire and there is no monthly reset. Static and per-IP products are billed per address instead.

Do larger packages cost less per gigabyte?

Yes. Every package above the trial carries bonus gigabytes on top of what you pay for, which is what brings the effective rate down as you scale. The current ladder is on the pricing page, generated from the same figures checkout uses.

What is the smallest amount I can buy?

One gigabyte, or a $5 top-up to your balance. The floor used to be $25 and was lowered because it was turning away people who only wanted to run a test first.

How do I pay?

Cryptocurrency — USDT, BTC, ETH, LTC and others — processed automatically. Traffic is credited within a couple of minutes of the payment confirming. Card payments are not available yet.

The free gigabyte

How do I get it?

Create an account, open the dashboard and link Telegram. One gigabyte of residential traffic is credited immediately. No card, no deposit, and you have seven days after signing up to claim it.

Why Telegram and not email confirmation?

Because an email address costs nothing and nobody runs out of them. Linking Telegram is a small amount of friction that keeps the giveaway from being farmed, and it also gives us a way to reach you if something breaks.

Using the proxies

Which protocols work?

Residential traffic carries HTTP(S) and SOCKS5 on the same credentials. Use socks5h:// rather than socks5:// if you want the proxy to resolve hostnames, which is what you normally want.

How do I target a country?

Through the username, alongside your session settings. The dashboard generates the exact line for you — copy it rather than assembling it by hand, because a mistyped tag is ignored silently and you end up wondering why the address is in the wrong place.

Can I keep the same IP for a while?

Yes, with a sticky session. Add a session identifier to the username and the address holds for the length of that session; drop it and rotation resumes on every request.

Is there a limit on concurrent connections?

No. You are billed for traffic, not for threads or sessions.

Do I have to whitelist my IP?

Only if you prefer that to a username and password. Both work — see IP whitelisting.

When something does not work

A line that worked yesterday fails today

Check the port first. Office networks, some mobile carriers and hotel Wi-Fi filter outbound ports without announcing it, and from your side that is indistinguishable from an outage. Prove the credentials with one command before anything else:

curl -x http://USER:PASS@HOST:PORT https://api.ipify.org

A site says it detected a proxy

That is a judgement about the exit address, not about your browser. See what that message actually means.

I lost access to my account

If your account is from the previous IP2World service, it did not carry over — this page explains what to do. For an account created here, contact support and we will sort it out.

Support and refunds

How do I reach a human?

Telegram is fastest: @Ip2WorldSupportbot. There is also a form and email. Include the exact command or screenshot of what failed and the answer comes back much faster.

Can I get a refund?

Unused traffic can be refunded under the terms on the refund policy page. Traffic already spent cannot, for the obvious reason that we paid for it upstream.

FAQ

Still stuck?

How fast is traffic delivered after payment?

Within a couple of minutes of the payment confirming on-chain. It is automatic, so there is nobody to wait for.

Do gigabytes expire?

No. Traffic stays on your balance until you spend it.

Can I resell IP2World traffic?

Yes, there is a reseller tier with wholesale rates — see the reseller page.

Is there an API?

Proxy lines are generated in the dashboard and work with any tool that takes a proxy. For programmatic provisioning, ask support what you need and we will tell you honestly whether it exists yet.
