Leak & consistency checks
Six tests on the connection you are using right now. They answer the only question that matters when you buy a proxy: does it actually hide what you think it hides?
How to read the result
Four of these checks are the ones that get accounts banned, and none of them are about your IP being “clean” in some abstract sense:
- Proxy headers. A transparent proxy adds
X-Forwarded-FororViato every request, which tells the destination site you are proxied before it even looks at your IP. A correctly configured SOCKS5 or HTTP proxy adds nothing. If you see this warning, your proxy is worthless for anything that matters. - Network type. Sites score the owner of your IP range. Hosting and datacenter ranges carry the abuse history of every VPS that came before you, which is why cheap datacenter proxies fail on logins while a residential IP sails through.
- Timezone mismatch. The cheapest tell in the book. Your IP says Germany, your browser clock says Asia/Kolkata — no real user looks like that. Fix it in your OS or in your antidetect browser profile, per profile.
- WebRTC. Browsers negotiate media connections over UDP, and a SOCKS5 proxy set in browser settings usually does not carry UDP. The result is that your real address is handed out by the browser itself while every other check looks perfect.
Compared with whoer.net, 2ip and ipinfo.io
Those three are the tools most people reach for, and they are good at what they do. They are simply built for different questions:

One deliberate omission: we do not print a city or a map pin. Country and network operator data is reliable; street-level geolocation of an IP is mostly guesswork, and pretending otherwise helps nobody.
After you change proxy: the 60-second routine
- Connect through the new IP and reload this page. Confirm the address changed and no proxy headers appeared.
- Check the network type verdict. Hosting where you expected residential means you bought the wrong product.
- Set your timezone to match the IP country — system-wide for a VPN, per profile in an antidetect browser.
